Senior Copywriter

As a Senior Copywriter with 5 years of experience, you are confident in leading projects, crafting copy and developing concepts. You are a self-starter that is highly creative and communicates ideas effectively. You take pride in ensuring all copy in projects is delivered flawlessly. You will collaborate with a Senior Art Director partner and the team to come up with the best solutions for briefs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, develop and execute creative projects.
  • Craft copy with speed, consistency and accuracy. Anything from concise, punchy headlines to long, engaging content.
  • Develop concepts that not only creatively solve the brief, but pushes agency work with forward thinking.
  • Present creative to teams and clients confidently and remain optimistic about finding new solutions when necessary.
  • Foster good client relationships.
  • Quality control of copy in all aspects of the project. An acute eye for detail and immaculate copy in anything from presentations to emails.
  • Manage multiple projects and be able to switch seamlessly.
  • Anticipate issues, feedback and tasks.
  • Seek out new solutions and ways of thinking and incorporate into creative projects effectively.
  • Inspire, motivate, and give constructive feedback to team members.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years agency copywriting experience.
  • Communicates effectively in all digital mediums.
  • Highly creative and imaginative.
  • Portfolio that exemplifies exceptional and flexible writing skills.
  • Self-initiating and can excel under pressure of deadlines.
  • Management and/or leadership experience.
  • Cognizant of good design and an appreciation of the balance between textual and visual elements.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Experience working on Nike is a plus.
