We are looking for an Editor-In-Chief to take the editorial output of the AnalogFolk Sydney's Content Division to the next level through remarkable, engaging, valuable and culturally relevant editorial content.
We are looking for candidates with rich and diverse background across the editorial and publishing industry with a black book brimming full of journalistic and writing talent. Significant experience within an agency or digital publishing environment and working for or alongside brands is hugely advantageous.
They need to be a competent editor, a capable writer, and have a keen eye for wider consumer trends and come with bags of energy and enthusiasm. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of how people consume digital content and have an avid interest in digital publishing and branded content.
The role is a highly conceptual one and will encompass the writing, editing and commissioning of features for a variety of audiences across a broad range of topics across our client base.
This is a client-facing role and the successful candidate will be expected to regularly present their work and contribute to client and all agency meetings. They will also work closely with the creative, client service, and production teams at AnalogFolk and will be responsible for building and cultivating an industry leading editorial team.
In addition, there may be opportunities to work with the wider AnalogFolk team on new business pitches where you will be expected to maintain your day-to-day output levels whilst contributing value to the pitch process.
