Today, we’re looking for a Director of Production and Operations
This is a key leadership position in the Amsterdam office, which will play an instrumental role in our ability to realise our ambitions and scale our business. The best practices and experience you provide will be core to our collective success.
You will drive our production and operational strategies, setting the framework for our world-class production, commercial growth, and stability.
·      By leading our production function, you will define, champion, and lead the team to excellence in delivering world-class work, and help to build the culture and climate for success.
·      Through the execution of our operational strategy, you will support AnalogFolk to operate as a high performing team that is optimised, organised, and set up for success. 
Your key focus will be on making great work, eliminating silos, and inefficiency. You will establish efficient and repeatable ways of providing end-to -end and integrated services for our clients that connects Amsterdam and the rest of AnalogFolk Group. And finally, you’ll build and lead an awesome team of producers across our client roster.
·      Lead our production function and champion best practice across our portfolio of work
·      Build, galvanise and shape our delivery team, ensuring we have the right mix of talent and expertise for the breadth of our work, and ensuring we can deliver what we ideate
·      Assess and optimise our working process so that we can be efficient and focussed and are set up to be able to deliver best in class work profitably – identifying and alleviating bottlenecks, duplication, team inefficiencies, ways of working etc
·      Identify and implement the optimal team shape and skillset for the future, manage talent pipeline and succession planning,
·      Evolve and update delivery approaches and process as necessary, leveraging insight from the network and new ways to deliver
·      Drive greater definition and clarity of roles & responsibilities of delivery & client services
·      Demonstrate leadership and an entrepreneurial approach that develops new client opportunities and exhibits a high degree of independence and autonomy in decision-making.
·      Line management responsibility and / or mentoring for junior team members; hold performance reviews , set personal goals, and measure progress against these.
·      Build fantastic relationships with a wide range of suppliers in our Folk Partner network to ensure we connect our clients with the best talent and production partners in the industry.
·      Build and maintain a high-performance culture through leadership
·      Collaborate with account services and the Managing Director to ensure revenue forecasting and resource management are in lock step.
·      Help the organisation to scale and grow sustainably, balancing urgent short term needs and longer-term goals
·      Facilitate across departments to ensure that resource management is accurate and updated in a timely fashion
·      Own and run the freelancer budget and inter-company partnership strategy to reduce our reliance on short term expensive freelancers, and maximise the global talent pool
·      Support the team shape/structure and planning in line with client needs and revenue forecast
·      Identify where we have utilisation, recoverability and project health challenges and devise strategies to mitigate against these
·      Facilitate borderless resourcing objectives between Amsterdam, the other AF offices, and AFG.
·      End to end delivery and full 360 /integrated production experience (strategic + creative development, data analytics, content production, digital assets / CRM, build, innovation and experiential).
·      8 years+ experience working within a top global digital agency or digital communications agency in a senior production or senior project management (or equivalent) role.
·      A track record of problem solving and a can-do solution attitude.
·      Delivered award winning marketing for clients
·      Highly motivated, collaborative, and entrepreneurial.
·      Vast experience in managing production partners and suppliers
·      Strong ethos to deliver innovative, creative solutions that have the client’s needs at the heart.
·      Highly articulate communication skills (verbal and written), accomplished presenter.
·      Ability to communicate with authority, good negotiation and influencing skills.
·      Understanding of processes, workflows, tools, and methodologies.
·      Experience of managing programmes of work and retainers from 2m +  and complex digital campaigns with multiple workflows
·      Understanding (not not expertise) of multiple project management methodologies: DSDM, Scrum, Prince 2 etc.
·      Management of multidisciplinary teams: Strategy, UX, Creative, Editorial,  Design, Technology and QA.
