Today, we’re looking for a Programme Director

As Programme Director, it will be your responsibility to own the delivery of a client group with revenue more than €3.5m+. You are the Delivery champion of the group and the trusted partner for more senior clients, able to offer strategic delivery solutions at the early stages of a project.

You essentially see your account as a mini business, which you run in partnership with the client partner, assisting in contributing ideas toward the overall strategic development and direction of these accounts. Using your entrepreneurial skills to identify and build new opportunities through delivery.

You will be the key escalation point for all delivery matters and determine how cross functional teams deliver against our client’s needs. Using your entrepreneurial skills to identify and build new opportunities through delivery.

You will have the freedom to lead specific engagements that require your experience and steady hand, onboarding new members once you’ve gotten things going.

You manage and mentor members of the team through core line management, but also through motivational leadership and guidance. Contributing to the overall development and direction of the Delivery team.

Delivery is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of the project and the collaboration of internal and external project teams. Creating transparent, on-going, relations with clients to ensure trust in our expertise to deliver what is right for their brand and customers.

      Responsibly manage a client group of £3.5m+, with a responsibility for the effective management of all projects within the group
      Lead and manage a project yourself as well as the programme of work
      Agreeing and delivering the strategic direction and objectives of the account from commercial, creative, client and best-practice perspective
      Effectively plan and executing the programme of work required across the account group, clearly communicating needs and progress to the business
      Managing the cross functional team needed to deliver a client’s programme. Ensuring all are utilised effectively and Delivery members are 95% utilised
      Owning key client relationships at a senior level. With direct client contacts and being the trusted delivery partner
      Monitoring risks and dependencies across the client group, with relevant support provided to Project Managers as required. Taking responsibility for relevant action to ensure resolution
      You will assess all new briefs into the client group. You will provide the initial response to the client, plan the team accordingly, and determine key deliverables
      Resolve all delivery issues escalated upwards effectively on your account.  Informing the Director of Production
      Contribute to and co-present quarterly account plans. You will support the strategic plan with a realistic team plan and share responsibility of actions against this plan with the Client Partner on the Account.
      Help to guide the project quality governance process. Establishes ways of working within the team, ensuring consistency in work and standards. Escalates and resolves financial issues as they happen.
      Mentors more junior members of the team
      Line management for junior members of the team. Doing regular reviews, developing team through mentorship and direct training
      Ensuring high engagement within the team and great moral 
      Highly motivated, collaborative, and entrepreneurial
      Strong ethos to deliver innovative, creative solutions that have the client’s needs at the heart
      Highly articulate communication skills (verbal and written), accomplished presenter
      Ability to communicate with authority, with good negotiation and influencing skills
      6 years + experience working within a top digital agency or digital production company
      Experience at director/ management level overseeing complex programmes of work across integrated digital production (campaigns, content, platforms)
      Experience of managing programmes of work from €2m +
      Demonstrated experience of working with a range of delivery methodologies and understanding of how to implement and adapt methodologies within a creative agency
      Implementation of successful client specific process/ ways of working
      Experience of line management of 2+ Project Managers
      Management of multi-discipline teams: Strategy, UX, Creative, Design, Technology and QA
      Experience working with distributed teams and client stakeholders across multiple territories
      Resilient, the personification of calm under pressure
      Passion for cutting edge creative and innovation
      Experience of film and content production, knowledge and awareness of delivery principles
