We’re looking for a creative UI Designer to join AnalogFolks Products, Platforms & Services team. You will be responsible for creating user-centred and meaningful digital experiences that meet our high standards of craft and deliver on our clients goals.
You will work collaboratively with our wider team, owning and championing design across an agile, long-term programme which delivers new and innovative branded products.
Primarily focus on designing experiences for global customers including rapid prototyping of new ideas
Experience of leading the creative output of a project
Happy supporting other designers and reporting into the leadership team
Can work at pace in agile sprint cycles and under pressure
Is familiar with curent product design processes and practices
Comfortable collaborating and presenting work to clients and partners
Collaborating with UX/CX and design for behavioural change
Understanding of how to design and test using metrics
An individual who's worked in known agencies / brands with at least 7 years experience - ideally leading, defining and crafting responsive websites and native apps. You are comfortable with the responsibility that comes with leading a project and enjoy the ownership of the design language.
You will have had direct experience of working within teams who are delivering products and features for development. You are also familiar working within established design systems or helping define and establish new ones.
Part of a dedicated team responsible for defining and creating a new financial platform and proposition for a global client. We will be moving quickly to establish a new platform from which we can learn from and enhance as design sprints progress throughout the year. Working in multi-discipline teams of researchers, data strategists, CX/UX and other designers we will deliver key features and journeys across markets and at the end of each sprint deliver high quality sketch files to our development teams and create clickable prototypes where necessary.
You'll be required to regularly play back your work to the AF product leadership team and you will also be comfortable workshopping solutions with our client group and presenting your work back to them, demonstrating your approach and decision making with the support of the wider team.
You will be extremely proficient in Sketch and Adobe Creative Suite. Additionally you will be used to creating prototypes in various formats. Knowledge of InVision / DSM is a must, however we are also likely to be using Zeplin, Framer etc during our design process.
You'll also be expected to immerse yourself into an established brand’s design language, and utilised existing UI toolkits and UX standards to ensure we are using approved brand patterns and practices.
The ideal candidate will have worked in an environment where data is used to inform design and a culture of test and learn has been central to improving the product. Whilst a strong understanding of user experience and service design is beneficial, the role is a creative one suited to an individual with a visual design background.
How We Work:
We are redesigning our office to be a collaborative work space and will implement a phased return to the office with a 2:3 remote / office model being our future set up. Right now, our Folks continue to work remotely with the office open if they need to use it and we have invited local start up’s into our office space to support them during this time.
We embrace flexible working and we believe individuals can manage their own time and focus on how they work best. To avoid meeting fatigue and give Folks a break from screens where possible we have a ‘Meeting-Free’ lock of time between 12-2pm every day. During this period of time, no internal meetings should take place and we encourage people to get outside, have lunch, do focused work or prepare for afternoon meetings.
