Office Manager

The Office Manager is an integral member of the Operations team and will be responsible for the overall management of our New York office location. The ideal candidate will be reliable and pride themselves on making the office their own, and properly make sure that the office runs smoothly and efficiently as possible. Culture is very important here at AF, and the Office Manager will be passionate about working to maintain and enrich ours.

  • Keep the office tidy, organized and fully functional
  • Order office supplies and weekly/monthly snacks and supplies for celebrations
  • Manage office supply closet and IT server room
  • Manage desk moves and assist with new hire seating
  • Work with the cleaning company to ensure the office is cleaned properly each night
  • Supports Operations team with various administrative tasks
  • Research office solutions and cost comparisons with Operations team
  • Help to manage office expansions or office moves
  • Assist the Talent team with new hire on-boarding processes
  • Work with IT team to ensure all issues are managed properly and computers are setup for new hires and freelancers
  • Oversee day to day communications and ad hoc troubleshooting with HR benefits service platform


  • 1+ years of office management experience in a similar environment or industry
  • B.A. or B.S. degree preferred
  • Proactive personality, someone with a strong ability to anticipate future needs
  • Energetic professional who doesn’t mind wearing multiple hats
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to speak and communicate with confidence
  • Experience managing confidential and/or sensitive data 
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
