Associate Producer (Contract to Perm)

OVERVIEW

As an Associate Producer, you will be responsible for making remarkable work, actually happen.

It will be your responsibility to manage projects ranging in size from $5K to $250K, across social media, film, audio, photography, design and digital. 

You will need to love solving problems, be commercially savvy and manage successful collaboration between cross-department teams and agency partners as we look to execute award-winning creative on time and budget. 

You will be an expert communicator, keeping the entire team (including clients) informed of project status, and what needs to happen next. You will be comfortable cracking the WIP, and will take pride in delivering high-quality work on time and on-budget. 

As AnalogFolk is continuously looking to innovate against an ever-changing industry,  you will need to have a fantastic can-do attitude at all times, and constantly be willing to adapt as we deliver new types of projects and services with our clients. 

Reporting in to our Project Director, you will also work with the Client Services team to build trusted client relationships, empowering internal teams to take well-mitigated risks and build fantastic partnerships with our Folk Partner suppliers. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO / Roles & Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for accurate scoping of projects, defining deliverables, estimating effort, and booking resource
  • You will ensure all requirements have been carefully considered and prioritised,  risks have are mitigated against and there is a strong level of clear documentation (SoW, Budget, Project Plan). 
  • You will manage a collaborative project team to ensure we are delivering to an outstanding quality level and continue to produce work that is effective and award-winning 
  • You will display a good understanding of industry craft and implement best practice across a full range of integrated productions and delivery workflows (creative development, content production, digital assets / CRM, build, innovation [VR, 360, AR] and experiential).
  • You will showcase fantastic adaptability skills and continuous willingness to flex, learn and problem solve (no matter the challenge) as AF develop new and sustainable ways of working against a broad range of new projects. 
  • Supported by your Project Director, you will assess all new briefs to ensure they meet the business need, validate the commercial viability and help suggest the delivery approach/methodology accordingly.
  • You will work closely with the client service team, identifying challenges with scope/time/budgets early and helping define solutions to get the project back on track. 
  • You will continue to add value throughout the project lifecycle by continuing to problem solve and demonstrating a strong level of control and product knowledge to drive creative solutions.  
  • You will manage and help build fantastic relationships with a wide range of suppliers in our Folk Partner network to ensure we connect our clients with the best talent and production partners in the industry. 
  • You will ensure project financials are managed effectively.

  • You manage projects to less than a 10% variance from the agreed scope, budget and timeline.

  • Outstanding 360 feedback from clients and your internal team.
  • Clear and transparent resourcing plans from the beginning of your project until the final delivery 
  • Strong financial tracking and advance overrun mitigation

 
WHAT YOU’VE DONE / Skills & Experience

  • 1-2 years experience in a top creative or digital agency
  • Examples of end to end delivery of projects including film, photography, social media, digital advertising - others a bonus
  • A track record of problem-solving and a can-do solution attitude. 
  • Highly motivated, collaborative and entrepreneurial.
  • Some experience in managing production partners and suppliers 
  • Strong ethos to deliver innovative, creative solutions that have the client’s needs at the heart
  • Highly articulate communication skills (verbal and written) and keen aptitude to present
  • Ability to communicate with authority, good negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Understanding of processes, workflows, tools and methodologies
  • Management of multidisciplinary teams: Strategy, creative, design, technology
  • Passion for cutting edge creative and innovation

You’ll work from our warehouse office space in Glebe with a small team who all actually like each other, with all the standard agency perks (stocked fridge and bar, ping pong table, resident dog, Monday breakfast).
