We're looking for a strategist who is a creative problem solver. They will be responsible for understanding a client’s brand, the audience, marketplace and technology landscape, identifying the key insights and working with others to develop the most effective digital strategy to solve the client’s problem.
The output of your work may include a website, digital experience, online content, social media campaign or business transformation project – you’ll be involved in determining what’s most appropriate. Along the way you’ll work closely with other strategists, creatives and the client service team. This means being great with people and curious to understand not just how people behave but what motivates them to act in this way.
You will need a good foundation in research (ideally quant). Equally important is a desire to apply this, prioritising the key insights and working with others to translate this into a creative brief and digital strategy.
You'll need to have an opinion on brands, marketing and popular culture, and understand how and why people use digital technology, but not necessarily the technical details.

*Audit the client’s brand and competitive landscape (through desk research)
*Identify inspiration from other brands or categories
*Stay ahead of consumer, technology and pop culture trends and share this with the broader team
*Develop an understanding of the audience by conducting primary consumer / stakeholder research (eg focus groups, stakeholder interviews) and analyse and prioritise the key insights from existing research sources
*Help plan and moderate workshops with clients and internal team members
*Work closely with the senior strategy team to translate insight into creative briefs and digital strategies
*Help develop forecasts and measurement frameworks to evaluate the effectiveness of our activities
*Develop client documents and help present ideas to clients
*Work with broader agency team to bring the strategy to life
Skills and experience
*1-3 years experience in a digital / ATL planning, insights or strategic marketing role
*Understanding of and passion for brands, marketing, popular culture and digital technologies
* Curiosity about human behaviour, coupled with research skills to generate human insights.
*Ability to review vast amounts of research, synthesize and draw relevant conclusions
*Great with people and the ability to play different roles within the team
*Desire to learn from others and also take the initiative to get up to speed on new topics
*Confidence to challenge and bring fresh thinking to the team
*Great written and verbal communication skills, including presenting ideas to clients
