Piece of technology I don't miss: "I had a love/hate relationship with the audio tape. Love - they were just nice to watch in action, great to record off the radio with. Hate - They took up half of my backpack space whilst travelling. To save on batteries I had to spin them over my head with a pencil in one cog to rewind. Became a bit of a sport and was quite entertaining to on-lookers."
