To be shortlisted, a global network must demonstrate excellent quality of creative work, showcasing ambitious, innovative new thinking for brands and their clients. Networks must also demonstrate effectiveness, new business performance, thought leadership, culture and values, as well as commitment to D&I and CSR programmes, staff engagement, and talent development that can be shown to have affected the entire network.

In 2022, AFG’s services and propositions enabled it to help clients thrive in the digital world. From pioneering new education platforms to reach young people, AnalogFolk helped a high street icon evolve into a cultural icon, and enlisted kids to build their own metaverse; to helping transform businesses with consultancy service MindWorks; to bringing innovation to content production with Untold Fable - dedicated to democratising the production industry by connecting brands with a network of curated talent, anywhere in the world, and reporting on DE&I performance both in front of and behind the camera; to AFG’s tech engineering and web development team With Robots and its production automation solution Otomo.io, which is enabling brands to deliver optimised and hyper-targeted content at scale efficiently, with no compromise to creative quality.

Earlier this year, AFG’s digital creative agency AnalogFolk was recognised as Contagious Pioneers ’Best and Bravest Agencies on the Planet’ 2022; it was a finalist at Campaign magazine’s Agency of the Year 2022 awards; and named one of the most awarded agencies in EMEA 2022 in a report carried out by The Drum researching every major global industry awards show. In 2021 it won Silver in the Campaign Asia Pacific AU/NZ ‘Content Marketing Agency of the Year’ and ‘Social Media Agency of the Year’ categories; and Silver in the Campaign Asia ‘Greater China Independent Agency of the Year’ and ‘Greater China Specialist Agency’ categories in 2020.

Campaign’s Global Network of the Year Awards are judged by a panel of global marketers with winners announced in May 2023.
